All types of media are controlled, this is to make sure that nothing inappropriate is broadcasted. If it was broadcasted then companies could potentially lose money. The watershed is the cut off point where inappropriate programmes to a certain extent can be broadcasted, such as swearing, nudity, murder etc. The time when this can be shown is 9pm.
